We have said them that it would be available in the month of October. Finally our prediction goes true. The advertisement of IBPS Common Written Examination(CWE) 2012 for clerk has been published. Participating banks in IBPS CWE 2012 for clerk recruitment



In previous year, there were 19 banks under IBPS. But this year the list of banks under IBPS has been expanded. The list of participating banks in IBPS CWE 2012 for clerk is as follows-

Eligibility details of IBPS CWE recruitment 2012 for clerk

Age limit: Should between 20-28 years as on 01.10.2012. Age relaxation has been made for reserved category as per Govt. rule.

Educational Qualification details: To apply for IBPS CWE 2012 for clerical cadres candidates must be  minimum graduate or equivalent any discipline from a recognized university.

Candidates must have operating and working knowledge in computer systems and should have proficiency in the Official Language of the State/UT for which they want to apply.



Changes in IBPS CWE 2012 for clerk recruitment

There have been made some changes in IBPS clerk CWE 2012. The changes are-
  • In previous year, under IBPS there are total 19 public sector banks. But this year IDBI decided to recruit through IBPS CWE. Also some private banks are there.
  • This year, only graduate candidates can apply for IBPS CWE. Candidates who passed HSC/10+2 level exam or pursuing graduation will not be eligible.
  • In previous year, after result of IBPS CWE, respective banks conducted personal interview. This year  even the interview would be co-ordinated by IBPS.
  • This year the CWE will be held online.


Syllabus, pattern of IBPS clerk recruitment exam 2012

Reasoning -  40 marks
English Language -  40 marks
Numerical Ability -  40 marks
General Awareness with Special reference to Banking Industry -  40 marks
Computer Knowledge - 40 marks.

Total times will be available - 2 Hours.


Admit card for IBPS Clerk CWE 2012

The IBPS clerk CWE 2012 call letter or admit card will bemade available on IBPS official website after 03.12.2012.

Application procedure of IBPS CWE 2012 for clerk

Application fees: Rs. 50 for SC/ST/PWD/EXSM candidates and Rs. 400 for all other candidates including OBC.

Application details: Candidates will have to apply online. Payment can be done either online or offline mode. Follow the given instructions-
  • First go to the IBPS website.Download and take a print out of the payment challan.
  • Fill it up and submit the above said application fees to these banks- Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Central Bank of India, Indian Overseas Bank, Punjab National Bank, United Bank of India. Collect the counterfoil payment challan receipt.
  • Then re-visit the IBPS site and open the online  application/registration form for IBPS clerk CWE 2012.
  • Fill it with valid information details and click submit button.
  • After successfully online registration take a printout copy of the system generated registration form. Keep with you along with the challan receipt for future reference.
After online registration, the IBPS registration ID and password will be sent via email, as given during online application.

Last date to apply online for CWE Clerk exam 2012: 05.11.2012
Online payment of fees starts from: 15.10.2012
Last date to pay fees online: 05.11.2012
Offline payment of fees can be deposited from: 17.10.2012
Last date for offline payment of fees: 09.11.2012
IBPS CWE Clerk II 2012 exam Call letter available: after 03.12.2012
Tentative date of  IBPS Clerk CWE 2012: DEC, 2012

      please help as i have cleared exam and now i have interview. But they are asking now application form and i do not have any soft copy or hard of application form. Now from where i will get as i have already searched ibps site but did not get anything

  8. hi, I am Shrinath from Karnataka (OBC), i got 92 marks in IBPS dec 2012 exam (17 marks for qualifying,but i got 16 marks in two sections) , so can i know ,is there any chance to get job in any bank ?
